About Vital Wellbeing

Patricia Campbell-Parker

I've always been interested in health and well-being, and my first career was in nursing. I worked in paediatrics and cardio-thoracic before leaving to fulfil my childhood dream of working in the airline industry as cabin crew. I did that for 14 years and it's how I became interested in- and convinced by - natural therapies.

The long hours and time zones took a toll on my health, so I made the most of my visits to the countries I travelled to. I sampled many amazing traditional treatments.

My health improved and my experiences gave me great insight. I quickly realised that treating the person rather than the symptoms was the only way to get lasting results. It was obvious really!

Diplomas in Natural Therapies

During the next few years I studied a range of natural therapies and gained diplomas in Reflexology (1988), Holistic massage, Manual lymphatic draining, Kinesiology, Reiki, and Bach Flower Remedies and Nutrition.

More recently I have studied Thermo-Auricular Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Spiritual healing. I’m also interested and knowledgeable in the ayurvedic traditions, the use of essential oils, and the energy of colour.

When I stopped flying I decided to put everything I had learned into practice. I facilitate Bach Flower Remedy education courses for Nelsons, which I have done now for 15 years and have recently co-developed an on-line programme.  I now combine my natural therapy practice in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey with Bach Flower Remedy training up and down the country.

Tutor for the Thermo-Auricular Therapy Association

I have also recently accepted an invitation to be a tutor for the Thermo-Auricular Therapy Association under the guidance of Sue Maunsell.

Updating my knowledge by attending advanced skills and refresher courses is something that’s very important to me. It’s how I make sure my clients constantly get the best treatment available for their particular needs.

Because I’ve experienced first-hand and studied many different therapies, I’ve can create a blend of treatments for clients. It means I can make sure the treatments are truly in tune with their body and mind, and meet their particular needs.

I've been a consultant at several exhibitions including:

  • South Eastern Pharmacist AGM
  • Boots Top Brands Show
  • Vitality Show
  • Cosmopolitan Show
  • Three Counties shows
  • Womad Festival 07
  • Model Sanctuary at London Fashion Week
  • Demalogica School of Beauty
  • One Life Live show
  • Hertfordshire & Brighton Universities (Nurses programme)
